RESTORE 2026 - Childhood Trauma & Inner Child Healing is a compassionate six-week programme designed to help you gently explore the impact of your earliest experiences and begin repairing the parts of you that were never fully nurtured, held, or heard. Running from June 9th - July 14th, every Tuesday from 7:00–8:30pm BST, this programme offers a deeply supportive space to understand your story, reconnect with your inner child, and build the emotional safety you've always deserved.
Over these six weeks, you’ll begin with a grounding introduction to childhood trauma — what it truly is, how it shows up, and how it shapes your adult life. You’ll learn the difference between “big T” and “little t” trauma, explore attachment wounds, and understand how developmental trauma impacts identity, self-worth, relationships, and your ability to feel safe in the world.
From there, the programme guides you into recognising your patterns with clarity and compassion. You’ll explore the four trauma responses (fight, flight, freeze, fawn), understand why certain triggers activate old wounds, and learn why the nervous system keeps pulling you toward familiar pain. This week sheds light on why certain relationships, dynamics, or emotional cycles repeat themselves — not because you’re broken, but because your brain learned to survive this way.
You’ll then meet your inner child — the younger versions of you that still carry unmet needs, hurts, and hopes. You’ll explore the differences between the wounded child and the magical child, and learn gentle reparenting practices to offer yourself the safety, affirmation, and care you may not have received. This work brings tenderness, clarity, and a sense of deep self-connection.
Safety and emotional regulation become the focus of the next stage. You’ll learn how to create internal safety through somatic tools, expand your window of tolerance, and build supportive resources that help your nervous system feel anchored rather than overwhelmed. These sessions help you move from survival mode into grounded presence.
As you heal, you’ll move into repairing the bond with yourself — grieving what you didn’t get, honouring what you survived, and learning how to give yourself the love, guidance, protection, and comfort that were missing. Through self-parenting, integration work, and emotional self-soothing, you’ll begin to strengthen the relationship between your adult self and inner child.
In the final week, you’ll learn how to grow forward — living with both the truth of your past and the possibility of your future. You’ll explore post-traumatic growth, reconnect with joy and play, and learn how to move from simply surviving to thriving. This week celebrates your resilience and prepares you for continued healing beyond the programme.
